JAPAN SKETCHBOOK TOUR JUNE 2024

The tour is designed for you to experience both the cultural and environmental beauty of Japan. We will start by basing ourselves in the historic capital Kyoto exploring ancient temples, stunning bamboo forests and a day trip to nearby Osaka. We will then travel north to the beautiful city of Kanazawa with its stunning gardens and historic geisha and shogun quarters. From there will will travel into the Japanese Alps at Takayama and a day visit to the UNESCO village of Shirakawa-go. We leave the Alps and travel to Tokyo to experience and paint in this amazing city. A day will be spent sketching and painting the wonders of Mount Fuji. We will fly back from Tokyo to Australia. This is a small group tour of 10-12 people.
